That’s for other people – the ones lucky and blessed. It’s for those that know what they’re doing and how to move through this world effectively and beautifully – in all the ways you’re not.
You’re not worthy of giving all of your attention to yourself, much less having someone else provide all their attention to you – your body, mind, and life. No way!
Why would you go to therapy? You can’t change. So instead, you try to fit in. You try to take a path that looks good and noble.
And you keep hitting a wall.
This trying-to-be-good-and-noble thing is not working out. It’s a bandaid.
But, you’re not sure how to go forward. You’re not sure how to move at all anymore.
You go to a yoga class; you have a massage; you talk to a friend – and things feel better for a moment.
Then you circle back to the same pain in your body and mind. This same sense that you don’t have the answers and you never will. You must not be worthy of them.
Break down that wall.
You want this pattern to stop! You feel blocked from becoming who you want to be and, more importantly, who you are meant to be.

Yoga Therapy will demolish blocks in the body and the mind. You can start the healing process by giving your full attention and having me give my attention to your body-mind needs. Even more exciting, you start transforming. Forever.
Behavioral patterns, emotional knots, depletion, overwhelm, weakening, and tightening are all signs of blocks that I look for in yoga therapy.
We observe your pains, patterns, and how you express them. Then we target a direct reroute for your body, mind, and system.

In that first session, we will talk more than in any other session. I’ll hear more about your body, mind, and life. I’ll be listening for what needs balancing in your system. We will do a few poses in the first session, and I’ll give you a 5- to 10-minute prescription – a small practice to do between sessions.
In the next session, we will have a more extended practice together where we primarily go into the body – move, breathe, and create shifts. Again, you’ll receive a small 10- to 15-minute prescription – a practice to do between sessions.
