So, we’ll start with a warm, cozy space to focus on you.
In the first session, we’ll have a dialogue about your history and your needs right now.
Then, I will guide you through several poses and a few minutes of breathwork. Both of these will address what you told me about your history and reasons for coming.
Your body needs to be seen and heard!
The founding principle of body-mind-based therapy is that your body has the answers to your needs. We’ve created strong, protective walls between the body and mind, and this causes problems.
The first step of healing your relationship between mind and body is for your body and breath to be seen and heard!
You will express what you’re longing to say. You’ll move in ways you’re body is desperately needing to move.
Your needs will finally be seen and understood. You will be acknowledged and affirmed.
We will do postures and breathwork tailored to you.
And you’ll receive the tools to use daily.
We will do more postures and breathwork in the three follow-up sessions and address physical and mental pain directly. You cannot heal the mind with the mind. The body and breath are the keys.
You’ll have practical, take-home prescriptions after these sessions. These are small home practices to support the work you’re doing outside our sessions. These small practices will cement the transformation.
Your relationship with your life will finally change.
As our work grows, you will learn the vital tool of hearing the true message of your body, emotions, breath, and mind.
Then, we will know how to move the body by the breath. It will forever change your life.
